（八打靈再也訊）一名有了身孕的女子，向拍拖8年的男友催婚，豈料卻換來男友一頓毒打！從事拖車行業的男友，聽到她肚裡有了孩子後，不但拒婚更叫她把孩子打掉；結果她不依，惹怒男友用雨傘毆打她。這名25歲的女子不堪男友如此對待，憤而報警。據說，她於週日到男友位於蒲種宏願花園的住家，告訴男友她懷孕了並催促他娶她過門，沒想到卻換來不快的後果。她向警方申訴，除了被男友用雨傘猛打了5下，也遭他摑了數巴掌。她較後被安排到醫院檢查，所幸腹中骨肉沒有受到傷害。 （星洲日報‧2006/07/06）
